Dartmouth Ocean Technologies involved in OSC OceanAware project

We are pleased to announce Dartmouth Ocean Technologies Inc.’s (DOT’s) involvement on the InnovaSea led OSC OceanAware project. DOT is a SME and a recent ocean technology Startup. Together with InnovaSea and the other project partners, this project will lead to the commercialization of some exciting new sensor technology here in Dartmouth, NS, Canada.

Dartmouth Ocean Technologies (DOT) will deliver Phosphate sensors and eDNA HAB Hunter Sampler technologies to support the aquaculture market. These leading edge microfluidic Lab-On-Chip (LOC) sensors will be very novel in the market place.

DOT President Arnold Furlong stated “The team at DOT is very excited to be part of such a significant project, and is pleased to be funded to develop, produce and deliver our microfluidic Lab-On-Chip (LOC) technologies in concert with the OceanAware partners. This project will lead to a need to increase our technical staffing levels.”
